Well yesterday I went to the Orientation that AFS requires and it was super fun. Even the food was good. I know you guyz wanna know went on during the orientation...Well it's hard to explain because usually every time its different. The AFS people separated the groups into sendees and parents. In the sendees room, we went over the rules and then we did some activities. We had a couple scenarios that we could possibly face like, being offered a joint...I know I know, dumb right.
But when the returnees came they talked about their experience. Elisabeth went to Germany, Adam went to France, Weston went to Costa Rica and Jillian went to Thailand. Lisa and Adam went for a whole year so would relate to them a little more. And Weston and Jillian went for the summer.
Orientation tested my people skills. And guess what guys?? I have really good people skills. If you didn't have your orientation yet, then talk to everyone there. You'll never now that the person you are talking to has any connection to the country you are going to unless you ask! Little did I know the lady who owned the house we were in was born in Japan!! I would ave never know that because she doesnt look Japanese at all...
I have a new buddy thats going on the plan with me. She is a native Japanese but she left when she was two months old with her parents. So I guess her parents want her to learn more about her culture...
Ugh! guyz I'm still trying to get the rest of the money. Wish me luck!! Bai Bai!
I just made a Quizilla Account!!! My username is: greencrayawn
Well AFS JUST sent me the little letter saying how much i owe them. But the thing is I need to have (now $9000) by New Years! Why didn't they tell me earlier?! I'm am soo mad. I have no idea how to raise money like that on such short notice. I am actually getting really sick from all of this. I am worrying a lot. I feel faint and it feels as though I wanna throw up. :"""(. I wish someone would just give me the money...
...AFS just sent me a letter stating that I am 101% going to Japan.
Thats kool and all but I'm just soo bored!
Im sitting here watching SpongeBob and surprisingly. It's kinda funny.
I just meet a kool new person named Angie. I happy that she is going too.
I guess this is the end of my adventure.
BiyA!
Well I just got accepted to go to Japan for a year. I just gotta come up with the cash to make it happen. AFS already gave me $3000 to get started with! They are so awesome. :D But anyway I just so grateful that God gave me the opportunity to experience something so great. I need to go talk to my guidance counselor about my credits because that would really suck if I didn't get any credits. It's like hooking school for 11 months! That would be pretty idiotic. (Duh Ariel!) I know this is only my first thing and I know that not a lot of people are reading this right now but I just hope that I get better at this. Come young Come all! Leave Comments! Let Everyone know the Joys of meeee!
Biya!
